On the occasion of the Vu Lan festival, with the desire to “elevate vegetarian cuisine”, Saigon South Marina Club has organized the “Filial Piety Season Buffet” (August 17 and 18, 2024) featuring more than 70 exquisite dishes (fruit salad with Para Puni cake, salad with roasted sesame dressing, Chilean spirulina salad with lemongrass and kumquat sauce, reishi mushroom spring rolls, salad with exclusive sauce , pancakes with forest vegetable, smoked cheese, etc.), crafted under the guidance of 5-star chef Bùi Thế Huy.

Always adhering to the unwavering principle of the profession to “bring diners not only a delicious culinary experience but also one that is beneficial for health and spirit”, Chef Huy believes that every meal can become a new and emotional journey of discovery. Each meal at SSMC is a unique and meaningful experience that helps diners feel the dedication behind the dishes prepared by the Chef. Initially motivated by the desire to find nutritious ingredients and vegetarian recipes to improve his elderly mother’s health, Chef Huy decided to apply the ingredients he meticulously researched into vegetarian dishes during the Vu Lan season. His goal is to benefit not only his mother but also to extend this health benefit to diners experiencing vegetarian cuisine at SSMC.
